Chevy Chase snubs ‘Community’ Showrunner over phone
Pretty upset with the editing cuts, the veteran actor Chevy Chase rants about the downfall of the quality of the show over voice mail. The voicemail recording is making rounds of the gossip galleries and people are having fun over their cost.
The maker of the show Dan Harmon has made some significant changes in developing the storyline of the show by replacing the scenes of the veteran actor with the lovers’ spat between Gillian (Jacob) and Joel (Mc Hale).
By doing so, the maker has totally taken away the comic factor of the show, opines the visibly upset Chevy Chase. According to him, he is into the laughter business for more than 60 years and the kind of comedy that the makers of Community are trying to develop has nothing to do with the comedy. It does not appear more than a silly editor’s disaster to the actor.
The actor chose to give his honest opinion to the maker on the phone. The maker has gone two steps further and has leaked the voice mail publicly to get the lion’s share of publicity for the show.
The show is, however, going to win the NBC slot for the fourth season also, speculates the show producer.
