Community 2.1 “Biology 101″ Review
Community premiered with a semester that is solid with the episode entitled “Biology 101”. Though the premiere episode that started the semester is not really a major laugh, the inclusion of two guest characters made it a good one. Michael Kenneth Williams and John Goodman both appear in this episode.

The episode started with Jeff Winger having singing and dancing hallucination but after his hallucination he went back to reality of the in old debate group he is into. Well, it seems that Jeff has not yet realized that he has no control over everything around him.
Recalling in the part, Jeff came a bit crazy when he could not stand powerful over others. Just this one instance wherein Jeff used the fire axe to hammer it to the table it showed that still he was considered only the second craziest inside the room.
In this episode it was revealed that the cellphone was not really the reason why Jeff got kicked off Biology. Though it could have been a reason, the main reason actually is that the professor got pissed when Pierce offered bribery to the professor. Though Jeff really knows that the professor will never fall for the bribery, Pierce still managed to do this just to live with the title of being the bad boy in town.
Meanwhile, Chang was a loner cast here where she still longs to join the study group. But now that Senor Chang was awarded new title by Dean Pelton as the Security Guard, then the group should keep an eye on Chang now.
Overall, the episode “Biology 101” is a good episode to watch. Britta finally decided to push through a major in Psychology while roommate Abed and Troy finally decided to bring their roomies relationship to the next level. As for Dean Pelton, he is now owned by Vice Dean, portrayed by John Goodman, that Greendale gets funds from having Air conditioning repair services at the annex school.
It is indeed a good start for the semester of the school year. Hopefully there will be no more musical numbers in upcoming episodes.
